Well, I have reached the end. The part that I thought I was striving for. The finalization of my practicum. The last paper signed. The big daunting task to overcome has been accomplished, but I realize that my greatest achievement was not in finishing the practicum and graduating from the program, but in confirming to myself the reason why I wanted to do the program in the first place.

The students that I worked with during this program gave me such a rich experience and everyday I was given grace, joy, trust, pure connection and friendship. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to share in the lives of each of these students and the students that I have not yet met.

Knowing in my heart that this is where I am meant to be at this time in my life…….that is true success, and I am so grateful!

The students worked very hard at the details of their designs. They put careful thought into each and every step. They even recruited some older, seasoned students, who had built successful leprechaun traps before. Some of the students wanted to give the leprechaun a cozy place to rest. Perhaps he did rest after making a green explosion of steamers and paint in our classroom, but alas, all that the students found the next morning were little green footprints everywhere and a trail of rainbow dust skittles.
